Baby Mittens

Hook Size: F (3.75)
Yarn: Baby Yarn
ch=Chain
sl st= slip stitch

sc=single crochet
y/o= yarn over






Row 1: Magic loop (google it if you don't know it), ch 3, 6 sc in loop, connect to beginning with sl st in ch 3


Row 2: Ch 3, 2 sc in each st., connect with sl st to ch 3


Row 3: Ch 3, 1 sc in first st, 2 sc in next st, repeat, sl st to ch 3


Row 4: Ch 3, 1 sc in each st, sl st to ch 3


Row 5: Ch 3, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in third st, repeat, sl st to ch 3


Row 6: Ch 3, 1 sc in each st, sl st to ch 3


Row 7: Ch 3, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in second st, 1 sc in third st, 2 sc in fourth st, repeat, sl st to ch 3


Row 8-16: Ch 3, 1 sc in each st, sl st to ch 3


Row 17: Ch 3, 1 decreasing st. (insert first sc, y/o,pull loop through, insert in second sc, y/o, pull loop through, y/o and pull through all 4 loops on hook) 6 sc, 1 decreasing st, 1 sc, 1 decreasing st. repeat, sl st to ch 3


Row 18-22: Ch 3, double front post crochet all around, sl st to ch 3


Row 19: Ch 3, sc in each st, sl st to ch 3, cut yarn, pull though and finish

    1. You can chain three and slip stitch to the first
      Chain. That will form a small circle that you can work in. Won't be as tight as a magic loop but it will still looks good.

  4. Row 17 doesn't add up at all. Could you clarify at what point do I start repeating? I've tried almost every point and none of it comes out to the right amount of stitches

  5. Does anyone else ends up with a horrible seam? Are the Ch3 at the beginning of each row correct?

  6. Not horrible but yes the ch 3 at the start of each row makes a seam.
